Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 69L-3.01925 - Impairment Income Benefits (Dates of Accident on or After October 1, 2003)
(1) The initial payment of impairment income
benefits shall include payment for all full weeks of entitlement since the date
of maximum medical improvement up to the time the initial payment is made.
After the employee has reached maximum medical improvement, the claim
administrator shall make the initial payment of impairment income benefits no
later than the 14th day after the claim administrator has knowledge of the
employee's permanent impairment rating.
(2) Impairment income benefits shall be paid
in biweekly installments pursuant to sections
440.15(3)(c) and
(g), F.S. (2003).
(3) Impairment income benefits may not be
offset by social security or unemployment compensation benefits received by the
employee.
