Fla. Stat. § 5J-28.004 - Installation and Design
(1)
EVSE may be installed as part of an EV charging station in any location upon a
commercial property necessary to ease access to current utilities.
(2) EVSE infrastructure that is part of an EV
charging station shall be considered electrical or utility equipment and may
encroach upon required setbacks established by local government entities if
necessary to aid the most efficient access to current utilities.
(3) The placement of EVSE associated with an
EV charging station must comply with all applicable provisions of state law and
may not limit or block access to public utilities.
