Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 144-1-.02 - Administrative Assignment
(1) The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council
is assigned to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for administrative purposes
only. The Council has authority to:
(a)
Exercise its quasi-judicial, rule-making or policy-making functions
independently of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation;
(b) Prepare its budget and submit its
budgetary requests through the Georgia Bureau of Investigation; and
(c) Employ its own personnel as authorized or
funds are appropriated.
(2) The Council shall adopt bylaws and rules
of order consistent with its authorizing legislation for the conduct of
meetings and business.
