Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 120-3-27-.13 - Manufacturer's Information
(1) No new amusement ride shall be placed in
service unless the following information as applicable is provided to the ride
owner by the manufacturer of the ride.
(2) The required information shall be legibly
impressed on a metal plate or equivalent and readily visible at the appropriate
ride.
(a) A manufacturer's unique serial
number or code affixed to the ride in a permanent fashion;
(b) A manufacturer's unique serial number or
code assigned to each manufactured ride type of the same structural design or
components;
(c) The date (month,
year) that the given ride met the manufacturer's required construction
specifications;
(d) The maximum
revolutions per minute, the maximum feet per second, or miles per
hour;
(e) The capacity of the ride
in terms of total passenger weight or the number of passengers;
(3) Water ride data plates shall
contain a location number of the ride or flume and the maximum dispatch time
interval.
(4) The ride owner shall
maintain all of the information described in (2) above and make it available to
the Commissioner upon his request.
(5) Where any conflict occurs between the
manufacturer's information or recommendations of (2) above and other provisions
of these rules, the other provisions of this Chapter shall prevail.
