Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 195-3-.02 - Eligibility Criteria
(1) To be eligible to receive a grant under
the grant program, a dentist shall meet the following qualifications:
(a) Maintain a practice in a medically
underserved rural area of the state;
(b) Be licensed to practice in this state and
board certified;
(c) Complete a
minimum of 100 hours biennially of continuing education as approved by the
Georgia Board of Dentistry;
(d)
Provide weekend or extended hours; and
(e) Accept Medicaid and Medicare
patients.
(f) A dentist receiving a
grant pursuant to the grant program shall agree to practice dentistry in such
medically underserved rural areas of the state full-time as defined by the
Board.
(g) Must meet all other
requirements as set forth by the Georgia Board of Health Care
Workforce.
