The payments of any fees of the Georgia Board of Private
Detective and Security Agencies for licensure, registration, or weapon permit
shall be made by a cashier's check, certified check, or money order, or
approved online payment method. The Board, in its discretion, may also accept a
company check for the purpose of licensure, registration, or weapon permit. The
board shall have the right to refuse payment of any fees not made in accordance
with this rule. Refer to fee schedule for appropriate fees payable to the
Board. Any request for refund must be submitted in writing. Any indebtedness to
the Board caused by a returned check will be dealt with in accordance with Code
Section 16-9-20 of the Criminal Code of
Georgia.
(a) Application Fees. Each
application for company licensure, employee registration, or weapon permit
shall be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee. Refer to fee schedule
for appropriate fees payable to the Board.
(b) Fee for fingerprint processing. Any fees
for fingerprint processing will be paid by the licensee to the appropriate
processing authority.
