Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 560-10-26-.02 - Issuance of Temporary Disability Placards
(1) Temporary placards shall vary in color
from one period to the next period with the initial period being the color
"red."
(2) The proceeding color for
a temporary permit by period shall be:
(a)
"Green" for the second period,
(b)
"Orange" for the third period,
(c)
"Purple" for the fourth period,
(d)
"Yellow" for the fifth period,
(e)
"Crimson" for the sixth period,
(f)
"White" for the seventh period.
(g)
For the eighth and subsequent periods, the colors shall continue as provided
for in subsection (2) of this section.
(3) The temporary placard shall:
(a) Be laminated on the front and the back of
the placard covering the expiration date,
(b) Display the expiration date as specified
in the affidavit provided to the Department,
1. The expiration date shall not be more than
180 days from the date the permit is issued.
(c) Upon request for a continuing temporary
permit, the previous permits shall be surrendered to the authorized agent along
with an affidavit for a disabled person who is processing the request for the
new temporary permit.
(4) The expiration date shall be:
(a) Machine printed, and
(b) In bold face type of sufficient
size.
