Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 560-2-2-.06 - Initial Applications; Temporary Permits Authorized; Conditions of Issuance
(1)
Persons making initial license applications pursuant to Georgia laws and
regulations, after properly filing all required documents, may be authorized by
the Commissioner to operate pursuant to a temporary permit.
(2) Before any temporary permit shall be
issued, the applicant must have filed with the Department the following
documents and materials under the conditions indicated:
(a) A valid local license from the proper
governing authority to engage in the business for which application is
made;
(b) A valid state application
with all questions answered and which indicates prima facie eligibility to hold
the license sought;
(c) All other
documents required pursuant to the laws and regulations for obtaining a license
appropriate to the type of business for which application is made;
and
(d) Any other relevant
information the Commissioner may deem appropriate under the
circumstances.
(3) The
issuance of any temporary permit pursuant to the above conditions is within the
discretion of the Commissioner and may be withdrawn by the Commissioner at any
time without notice or hearing.
