Haw. Code R. § 10-3-49 - Borrowed funds

The department may borrow funds for the purpose of making loans to lessees of residence lots for purchasing, repairing, maintaining, erecting or improving homes on Hawaiian home lands. Such loans shall bear interest at the same rate of interest as that paid by the department to the lender, plus one-half of one percent per year. The term of such loans shall not exceed thirty years.
