Haw. Code R. § 10-4-42 - Fees
The department, in consultation with the park advisory council, may establish fees for the use of park facilities. Special fees may be charged for events that require unusual departmental assistance. Fees charged by the department shall be made known to the park user before a permit is issued. Additionally, deposits may be required of any .permit recipient in order to ensure that rules are met and the area is left in a clean and sanitary condition. A notice listing any required fees or deposits shall be posted in the applicable district office.
