Haw. Code R. § 10-4-44 - Commercial and private operations

The following activities are prohibited in department parks:

(1) Engaging in or soliciting business;

(2) Displaying, posting or distributing notices or advertisements; and

(3) Filming, photographing, video and audio recording, or any other media production that involves the use of professional casts, models, setting, or crews, by any person other than legitimate newspaper or television news personnel.

Exceptions to the above may be granted in writing by the chairperson subject to any terms, conditions, and fees deemed by the chairperson to be fair and reasonable.
