Haw. Code R. § 11-1-7 - Computation of time
In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by these rules or by order of the department, the day from which the period runs is excluded and the last day is included.
The period shall be extended, if necessary, to ensure that the last day falls on a normal State workday.
