Haw. Code R. § 11-160-1 - Purpose
The purpose of this chapter is to set forth rules for the medical use of cannabis program pursuant to part IX of chapter 329, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS), including the process for the department to approve debilitating medical conditions, physician and advanced practice registered nurse requirements to participate in the medical cannabis program, registration of qualifying patients, primary caregivers, qualifying out-of-state patients, and caregivers of qualifying out-of-state patients, monitoring and investigations, administrative procedure, and confidentiality of information.
