Haw. Code R. § 11-177.1-4 - Categories of certification

Applicants may receive certification in one or all of the following categories:

(1) Certified substance abuse counselor -licensed physician (specialty);

(2) Certified substance abuse counselor -licensed physician (general);

(3) Certified substance abuse counselor -licensed psychologist (specialty);

(4) Certified substance abuse counselor -licensed psychologist (general);

(5) Certified substance abuse counselor -licensed social worker;

(6) Certified substance abuse counselor -advanced practice registered nurse;

(7) Certified substance abuse counselor;

(8) Certified substance abuse counselor -bachelor degree;

(9) Certified substance abuse counselor - masters degree or higher;

(10) Certified substance abuse program administrator;

(11) Certified prevention specialist;

(12) Certified clinical supervisor;

(13) Certified criminal justice addictions professional; and

(14) Certified co-occurring disorders professional diplomate.
