Haw. Code R. § 11-188-21 - Minimum reporting

(a) The agency shall, at a minimum, issue reports from the health care claims data at an aggregate level to describe patterns of incidence and variation of targeted medical conditions, state and regional cost patterns, and utilization of services.
(b) The health care claims data reports will be available to the public and shall be de-identified, aggregated, and summarized in reports to achieve the purposes of the agency. All reports shall protect patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, including standards for the de-identification of protected health information.
