Haw. Code R. § 11-270-12 - Confidentiality of information

(a) In accordance with chapter 11-280, any information submitted to the department pursuant to these rules may be claimed as confidential by the submitter. Any such claim must be asserted at the time of submission in the manner described in the instructions, or, if there are no instructions, by stamping the words "confidential business information'' on each page containing such information. If no claim is made at the time of submission, the department may make the information available to the public without further notice. If a claim is asserted, the information will be treated in accordance with chapter 11-280.
(b) Claims of confidentiality for the name and address of any permit applicant or permittee will be denied.
