Haw. Code R. § 11-279-81 - Disposal
(a) Disposal of hazardous used oils. Used
oils that are identified as a hazardous waste and cannot be recycled in
accordance with this chapter must be managed in accordance with the hazardous
waste management requirements of chapters 11-260 through 11-266, 11-268, 11-270
and 11-271.
(b) Disposal of
nonhazardous used oils. Used oils that are not hazardous wastes and cannot be
recycled under this chapter must be disposed in accordance with the
requirements of the State rules on solid waste disposal facilities and
practices and municipal solid waste landfills.
