Haw. Code R. § 11-39-14 - Right to inspect
The director, upon showing credentials, shall be granted entrance to any building premises at any reasonable hour and permitted to inspect or reinspect or to otherwise investigate an air conditioning or ventilating system or any of its component parts or the conditions resulting therefrom for compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
