Haw. Code R. § 11-39-6 - Permit
(a) No person shall install, alter, or
operate an air conditioning or ventilating system without first obtaining from
the department a valid permit covering the specific installation, alteration,
or operation.
(b) Form 1,
Application for Permit, dated July 1981, located at the end of this chapter
shall be used as a permit application form and permit.
(c) Revocation, suspension, or denial of
permit. The department may on its own motion, or on the complaint of any
person, revoke, suspend, or deny a permit after notifying the permittee or
applicant and offering him an opportunity to be heard. Revocation, suspension,
or denial of a permit shall be grounded on a violation of this
chapter.
