Haw. Code R. § 11-45-223 - Personnel monitoring
(a) No licensee shall permit any individual to act as a logging supervisor or to assist in the handling of sources of radiation unless each such individual wears either a film badge or a thermoluminescent dosimeter (TLD). Each film badge or TLD shall be assigned to and worn by only one individual. Film badges shall be replaced at least monthly and TLDs replaced at least quarterly. After replacement, each film badge or TLD shall be promptly processed.
(b) Personnel monitoring records shall be maintained for inspection by the department for three years.
