Haw. Code R. § 11-451-5 - Designation of hazardous Substances
(a) This section
designates the hazardous substances which are subject to the notification
requirements contained in section 11-451-7.
(b) Listed hazardous substances. The
following are listed hazardous substances under this chapter:
(1) The list of elements, compounds, and
hazardous substances contained in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations
(40 C.F.R.) Part 355, Appendices A and B, revised as of July 1, 1993;
(2) The list of elements, compounds, and
hazardous substances contained in Part 302, Table 302.4 of 40 C.F.R., revised
as of July 1, 1993;
(3)
Trichloropropane; and
(4)
oil.
(c) Unlisted
hazardous substances. A hazardous waste as defined in section 11-261-3, as of
June 18, 1994, is a hazardous substance under this chapter if it exhibits any
of the characteristics of ignitability, corrosivity, reactivity or toxicity
identified in subchapter C of chapter 11-261, as of June 18, 1994.
