Haw. Code R. § 11-501-1 - Purpose
The purpose of this chapter is to define the minimum requirements for the processing, handling, and disposal of asbestos-containing material. It is also the purpose of this chapter to protect the general public by minimizing the release of asbestos fibers when facilities that contain asbestos-containing materials are demolished or renovated.
