Haw. Code R. § 11-850-25 - License renewal process
(a) A license may
be renewed if the dispensary licensee :
(1)
Submits to the department a renewal application on a form and in a manner
prescribed by the department at least sixty days prior to the expiration date
on the license ;
(2) Continues to
meet all the requirements of this chapter and chapter 329D, HRS; and
(3) Submits the renewal fee to the department
as required in subsection (c).
(b) Before renewing a license , the department
may require further information and documentation and may conduct additional
background checks to determine that the licensee continues to meet the
requirements of this chapter and chapter 329D, HRS.
(c) After receiving written notice from the
department that its renewal application has been approved , the dispensary
licensee shall pay the annual renewal fee calculated by the department in
accordance with section
11-850-28 by certified or
cashier's check payable to: State of Hawaii Department of Health prior to the
expiration date on the license .
(d)
A dispensary licensee whose license is not renewed shall cease all operations
immediately upon expiration of the license , return the license to the
department , and destroy all cannabis and manufactured cannabis products in the
dispensary licensee 's possession pursuant to this chapter.
