Haw. Code R. § 11-850-34 - Dispensary employees

(a) A dispensary
licensee shall establish and maintain written policies and procedures governing
the qualifications, recruitment, hiring, and training of operators, employees,
or subcontractors of production centers and retail dispensary
locations.
(b) No person under the
age of twenty-one shall be employed by a dispensary facility.
(c) Operators, employees, and subcontractors
shall wear an identification badge issued by the dispensary with the photograph
and name of the wearer in a visible location at all times when on the premises
of a dispensary facility.
(d) A
dispensary licensee shall provide training upon hire and annually to each
employee. The training shall include, but not be limited to the following:
(1) Health, safety, and sanitation standards
in accordance with this chapter;
(2) Security pursuant to this
chapter;
(3) Prohibitions and
enforcement pursuant to this chapter;
(4) Confidentiality pursuant to this chapter;
and
(5) All other provisions of
this chapter and chapter 32 9D, HRS, that apply to that person's scope of
employment.
(e) The
dispensary licensee shall provide the names of all employees and subcontractors
to the department and shall immediately notify the department in writing of any
change in the employment status of any of its employees or subcontractors.
