Haw. Code R. § 11-95-12 - Engineering and maintenance
(a) The facility
shall have an appropriate written preventive maintenance program which
documents compliance with all life safety codes of the state and
county.
(b) Inspection of all
devices essential to the health and safety of patients, personnel, and visitors
shall be carried out at sufficiently frequent intervals to ensure operational
performance.
(c) Maintenance and
routine repairs to the facility shall not require reviews or approval by the
department.
(d) Appropriate
facilities for routine building cleaning shall be provided.
