Haw. Code R. § 11-95-13 - Governing body
(a) The governing
body shall be the supreme authority of the facility, responsible for the
management, control and operation of the facility, including the appointment of
an administrator and the appointment of a medical director.
(b) The governing body shall appoint the
medical staff and delineate surgical privileges for each physician and
dentist.
(c) The governing body
shall specify which of the permitted procedures may be done in the
facility.
(d) The governing body
shall specify which procedures may be done in specific areas of the
facility.
(e) The governing body
shall be formally organized in accordance with a written constitution and
by-laws.
(f) The governing body
shall meet regularly, at least once a year, and the minutes of these meetings
shall be kept as a permanent record in the facility.
