Haw. Code R. § 11-96-38 - Speech therapy services
(a) Speech therapy
services shall be made available in each center as necessary, and be provided
under a physician's order, and shall include:
(1) Initial and continuing assessment of the
client by the speech therapist in the multidisciplinary team; and
(2) Progress notes, written at least
quarterly, or more often, if necessary in the client's health record and signed
by the speech therapist.
(b) The speech therapist shall work the
number of hours necessary to meet the needs of each client as specified in the
individualized plan of care developed by the multidisciplinary team.
(c) Space that is free from noise shall be
provided to the extent that such conditions are within the reasonable control
of the center.
