Haw. Code R. § 11-96-40 - Transportation safety
(a) Every adult day
health center which provides direct transportation services for clients shall
meet specific operational standards. The motor vehicle shall:
(1) Be operated only by drivers who have
appropriate valid Hawaii drivers license;
(2) Be equipped with safety devices to
protect clients during transportation;
(3) Be maintained in a safe and reliable
condition and shall meet the provisions of the current Hawaii Vehicle
Code.
(b) The center
shall develop policies regarding transportation safety and maintenance of
vehicles.
