Haw. Code R. § 11-99-69 - Maintenance

(a) There shall be sufficiently trained and experienced personnel to accomplish the required maintenance functions within the facility or available through contract with appropriate community resources.
(b) There shall be records that document compliance with environmental safety codes of the state and county authorities having primary jurisdiction over the facility. Inspection of all devices essential to health and safety of residents and personnel shall be carried out daily or at sufficiently frequent intervals to ensure proper operational performance.
