Haw. Code R. § 12-229-11.1 - Investigations
The department may investigate accidents reported under section 12-229-10.1 involving amusement rides, and elevators and kindred equipment inspected under this chapter and may issue orders and recommendations with respect to the elimination and control of the causal factors.
