Haw. Code R. § 12-46-19 - Scheduling conference
(a) Within thirty
days after the appointment of the hearings examiner the hearings examiner shall
order the holding of a scheduling conference. All parties receiving notice of
the scheduling conference shall attend in person or by counsel and shall be
prepared to discuss the following subjects:
(1) Anticipated motions, and deadlines as to
the filing and hearing of motions;
(2) Anticipated discovery;
(3) Further proceedings, including setting
dates for the prehearing conference and hearing;
(4) Prospects for settlement; and
(5) Any other matters which may be conducive
to the just, efficient and economical determination of the proceeding,
including the definition or limitation of issues.
