Haw. Code R. § 12-47-15 - Retention of documents by the board
During the pendency of the appeal, all documents filed with or presented to the board shall be retained in the files of the board. The board may, however, permit the withdrawal of original documents upon submission of properly authenticated copies to replace the documents.
