Haw. Code R. § 12-47-17 - Defective documents
Any document filed with the board, which is not in compliance with applicable rules, orders, or statutes may be accepted by the chief clerk or designee and filed. The mere fact of filing, however, shall not waive any failure to comply with this chapter or any other legal requirement.
