Haw. Code R. § 13-140-19 - Eligible expenditures

For land acquisition grants, eligible expenditures of grant funds shall be limited to the following:

(1) The purchase of land in fee, permanent conservation easements under chapter 198, HRS, or agricultural easements at or below fair market value as determined by a department-approved appraisal;

(2) Appraisals;

(3) Land surveys;

(4) Title insurance and title report; and

(5) Environmental inspections and assessments.
