Haw. Code R. § 13-147-11 - Matching funds
The department may utilize federal, state, or local government appropriation(s) that may become available to carry out any proposed park acquisition. Such appropriation(s) shall be used to supplement private monies accumulated for the acquisition, using the private monies first.
