Haw. Code R. § 13-221-12 - Archaeological and historical features
No person shall appropriate, damage, remove, excavate, disfigure, deface, or destroy objects of antiquity, prehistoric ruins, and monuments within the premises; provided, the board or its authorized representative may permit qualified persons or institutions to examine ruins, excavate archaeological sites, and gather objects of antiquity.
