Haw. Code R. § 13-222-12 - Public Notice of Application and Certification
(a) The department shall cause public notices
of the receipt of an application for and a proposed certification or rejection
of the shoreline. Public notices will be made in the Environmental Notice, a
semi-monthly publication of the Office of Environmental Quality Control, State
of Hawaii.
(b) All persons
interested in being notified of an application for and any proposed
certification or rejection of the shoreline shall request of the chairperson,
in writing, to be placed on the department's mailing list.
(c) All comments to the application for
shoreline certification shall be submitted in writing to the state land
surveyor and postmarked no later than 15 calendar days from the date of the
public notice of the application.
