Haw. Code R. § 13-245-4 - Authority to place markers
No waterway markers shall be placed in, or near, the waters of the State unless the placement is authorized by the chairperson, board of land and natural resources, except that this section shall not apply to private aids to navigation under the jurisdiction of the United States Coast Guard.
