Haw. Code R. § 13-251-27 - Operating while operator permit suspended or revoked

(a) No person shall operate as a permittee at a time when the privilege is suspended or revoked.
(b) The department shall extend the operator's suspension for a period equal to the original suspension upon receiving a record of that person's conviction for operating while the person's operator permit was suspended. If the conviction was for operating while a permit was revoked, the department shall not issue a new permit for an additional period of one year from the date the person would otherwise have been entitled to apply for a new permit.
