Haw. Code R. § 14-22.1-7 - Retention of documents
All documents filed with or presented to the board shall be retained in the files of the board as required by law and in accordance with the State administrative requirements in effect at that time. The board may permit the withdrawal of original documents upon submission of properly authenticated copies to replace the documents.
