Haw. Code R. § 14-51-47 - Fiduciary responsibilities
The plan administrator and delegated representative(s) shall use ordinary care and reasonable diligence in the performance of the duties hereunder, but shall not be personally liable by virtue of any contract, agreement, bond, or other instrument made or executed, unless resulting from willful misconduct. The plan administrator shall not be liable for the neglect, omission, or wrongdoing of any actuary, counsel or any person to whom any authority, powers, or duties have been delegated by the plan administrator.
