Haw. Code R. § 15-106-25 - Amendment of papers and dismissal
If any paper filed with the authority is not in substantial conformity with the applicable rules and requirements of the authority, the authority may, on its own motion or on motion of any person, strike the paper or require its amendment. If amended, the paper shall be effective as of the date of receipt of the amended paper.
