Haw. Code R. § 15-193-20 - Applicants
(a) A person seeking admission to a housing
project shall:
(1) Be a resident of the State
of Hawaii, except that no preference shall be given to applicants based on
residency in a specific locality or area within the corporation's
jurisdiction;
(2) Not have
previously lived in a housing project and been evicted from the project since
March 1, 1985;
(3) Not have an
outstanding debt owed to the corporation as a participant in any of its
programs; and
(4) Meet the
occupancy standards as set forth in exhibit B, which is incorporated by
reference and attached.
(b) A person seeking admission to a housing
project must submit a completed application form as used by the corporation.
The applicant is permitted to file at any of the corporation's intake offices
an application for any and all waiting lists prescribed in section
15-193-33.
(c) An applicant who has
misrepresented material information shall not be eligible to file an
application with the corporation for twelve months from the date of written
notification from the corporation.
