Haw. Code R. § 15-219-11 - Continuances or extensions of time
Whenever a party is required to take action within the period prescribed or allowed by an applicable order, statute, or rule, the presiding officer may:
(1) With or
without notice, extend such period before the expiration of the prescribed
period;
(2) Upon written motion,
permit the act to be done after the expiration of a specified period for good
cause shown; or
(3) Approve a
written stipulation signed by all parties to the proceeding extending such time
period.
