Haw. Code R. § 15-220-61 - Automatic approvals

(a) The following permits shall be deemed approved and require no public hearing if a certificate of completeness has been issued and no decision is rendered within the following review periods:

(1) Rules clearance (sixty calendar days);

(2) Facility Permit (ninety calendar days); and

(3) Variance (one hundred eighty calendar days).

(b) Whenever a proposed project requires more than one permit, the longest review period of this section shall apply for determining the deemed approved date.
