Haw. Code R. § 16-114-69 - Supervision of appraiser assistants

(a) Certified appraisers may directly supervise appraiser assistants provided:
(1) The certified appraiser is in good standing and not subject to any disciplinary action within the last two years that affects the certified appraiser's legal ability to practice appraisal, and
(2) The certified appraiser approves and signs the report as being independently and impartially prepared and in compliance with the USPAP.
(b) The certified appraiser shall not supervise more that three appraiser assistants at one time.
(c) Licensed appraisers shall not supervise appraiser assistants.
