Haw. Code R. § 16-201-87 - Review of requests for informal interpretations
The board or commission may delegate to a subcommittee of its members, a single member, or its executive secretary, the authority to review each request for an informal interpretation to determine whether the request is suitable for processing under this Subchapter and, if it is, to recommend the interpretation that the board or commission should issue.
