Haw. Code R. § 16-25-11 - Bank applications
Unless otherwise provided, this chapter applies to the applications listed below. Application fees, if any, are designated.
(1) Application to acquire powers granted
under federal law;
(2) Application
to acquire, establish, or hold the voting securities of an operating
subsidiary;
(3) Application to
accept drafts or bills of exchange in excess of one hundred fifty per cent of
capital and surplus;
(4)
Application to engage in trust business ($5,000);
(5) Application to transact insurance
business;
(6) Application to engage
in securities activities;
(7)
Application for authority to exercise additional powers;
(8) Application by an intra-Pacific bank or
intra-Pacific bank holding company to engage in business in Hawaii;
and
(9) Application for any other
approval by the commissioner.
