Haw. Code R. § 16-73-32 - Place of examination
The examinations shall be regularly held in Honolulu. However, upon timely request by applicants residing on an island other than Oahu and a showing that their number exceeds eight, the board may, in its discretion, conduct examinations on that neighboring island.
