Haw. Code R. § 16-74-141 - Kidney punch
The kidney punch, which is an illegal blow landing on that part of the back near the spine and over the kidneys, is strictly barred because it may produce permanent injury. Failure by the referee to prohibit the use of this blow may result in the suspension of the referee.
